Used to find Runaway genuinely menacing as a kid, a combination of the Jerry Goldsmith score, Simmons and those bloody spiders. The scene with the house robot holding the baby hostage was always quite tense as well. As with most things 80's that were set in the near future it's aged horrendously of course, but I still enjoy it on some level. |
