Free Guy You know they have confidence in a film when they go wide with secret preview screenings. Really, really enjoyed it. Funny, sweet, incredibly well observed. I was a little worried it would be a bit Ready Player One and go hard on references (especially given the IP at their disposal) but it is remarkably restrained in that respect, which makes the impact of what is there even greater (some wonderful reactions in our screening). I'll go see it again next week quite happily. |
