| Zhang Yimou's Blood Simple - a Chinese remake of the Coens' Blood Simple, set in medieval China and possibly one of the worst things I've ever seen though in fairness I did abandon it after 20 minutes so maybe after that it got really good. Seemed to be going for very broad slapstick, with characters with huge buck teeth and crossed eyes. Woeful. |
