Insidious Quite enjoyed this. Seemed to me to be essentially a remake of 'Poltergeist', which makes the actual coming remake all the more pointless. The second half (you know the bit I mean) didn't do a bad job of keeping my interest and maintaining my suspension of disbelief, although Mrs RobotChubby thought it got a tad ridiculous at that point. I enjoyed the very corny but quite creepy ending, right down to the last scene. Only problem: one good jump scare does not a scary movie make. I'd go about 65%, maybe 70% at a push. |
