@gamecat yeah been looking at these, cheers.
I'm pretty much ok with everything else apart from my feet getting pissed wet through so may give these a go.
Besides, I'd still rather cycle to work and back in the wind and rain than get the Metrolink any day. Did it last week and it was thoroughly unpleasant and about 30 minutes longer than cycling.
