Ugh, they've completely closed the road from Hyde Park Corner to Buckingham Palace, and half of the nearby park (inc cycles lanes) up to and well after the Jubilee thingy - which is a very well used and safe route through central London for cycling commuters, etc. More closures to come in the next few weeks. The alternative routes are way busier and much less pleasant for everyone, and less safe for cyclists. An early taster of London during the Olympics. |
