    I've pretty much always used 25mm for higher-speed riding, 23mm are just too narrow for the condition of UK roads, IMO. Personally, I never found them any faster than 25s, but the ride quality is noticeably poorer. Also, I prefer the cornering feel of a slightly wider tyre.
