phAge should be stripped of his low UID. Disgrace to old timers.

What's funny is that usually an EG thread is a last resort out from hours of trying last resort.

So phAge must've been tearing his hair out as to why it didn't work.

Not only true, but I am really interested in hearing what he thought the extra plugs were for.
He emailed me the other day, and I told him they might be butt-plugs.

But I was SURE he'd know I was joking.

    :S

Hm, I got a Samsung LE26R41B-A with the VGA lead and optical. But I can't get any sound out of the allocated slot for it and don't know what the connector is... looks like an optical port, ideas?

edit - asking as my surround system fucks up regularly with a clicking noise out of the left speaker.

In a sort of related question - how are you suppossed to get Phono output from the Wii for Dolby Pro Logic when you're using an RGB cable, and not sacrifice some image quality?

I did, but had to return it because of a nasty dent that happened during transport, and when I was told that there was a 2 month waiting period on that exact telly (Tosh struggling with demand), I decided to go with the Sony instead.
