I feel your pain; most of our software is written by a 3rd party who are all off until next week for xmas/new year etc, so I cant ask them to deploy or configure anything that I need to work on... pointless waste of energy coming in today; in on Friday as well - you'd think they'd just give people the one extra day off for new year!

So, work say you can go at two. And then apparently the residential side cant so two hours after this they say it's a four finish. FAIL.

I've spent most of this morning shopping online - so far i've bought:

-a sony home cinema system
-Batman and Planet Earth on Blu Ray
-a new pair of really nice boots

3 O'clock for me. But I've been asked to drop off a bit of mail about 15mins away by car...so does that mean I leave at 2.45 or - because of their kindness in letting us go two hours early - i drop it on my way home in "my" time.
