I meant in the context M_E was using. He was trying to suggest that I was having a pop at the Wii, and at the same time exonerating the other two consoles, when in reality I never directly introduced them as part of the debate, other than as incidental factors in explaining Nintendo's claims

And for me, they were exactly right.

Everything I've played so far on the 360, feels like it could easily have been acheived on the Xbox - at slightly lower res, with the exception of FIFA.

The Wii offers a unique experience, in that a) it's the first video games machine that the whole family can play together, and enjoy equally & on an even keel and b) a control method that sits wonderfully with FPS's, and breathes a little desperately needed life in to the genre - as does the DS.

You are attacking the wii, the presumed promises Nintendo failed to deliver, and doing this in isololation, when others are trying to explain to you that ALL hype from all marketing of ALL consoles is just that: Hype. In relation to ME's assertion that I was suggesting the Wii had failed where the others had succeeded. Which was fabrication of the highest order.

I'd like to thank all those who took part in a fair and largely successful discussion. Actually a point was being raised that whilst one has failed, so have the others in the same way so why highlight the one on its own. Your inability to discuss things like a normal person is why your threads fails (ignoring the trollingness and contradictions throughout).

Blaming grudges for people disagreeing with you should help you through life so keep trying that.

It really is fascinating to match the username to the responses in the thread. One would think that there was a clutch of posters seething with hatred and bitterness for a poster that they could never quite best, and who is posting freely to this day, while the other 99% couldn't really give a flying fuck about all this animosity either way...

Nah. It's just a stone cold coincidence that it's the same names that continuously crop up whenever there's a good bash session to be had. Pure coincidence!
