Bundy makes all wii trolls look like wankers.

This is why I dislike him, he makes wii trolling boring.

    That is all.

Aww man, you're WAY too late with the bundy-bashing! Should've had your say at the beginning, when it was in. Didn't you know? We've had an evening of cordial and pleasant debate, by and large. \o/

I was about to say "All Wii trolls are wankers!" when I realised that I actually like one or two of them. :)

    @Carlo

I meant in the context M_E was using. He was trying to suggest that I was having a pop at the Wii, and at the same time exonerating the other two consoles, when in reality I never directly introduced them as part of the debate, other than as incidental factors in explaining Nintendo's claims

Well again, that's the impression I got from Nintendo at the time, from the claims they were making. That all the 360 and PS3 had to offer were the same tired games, dressed up in a shiny package, and that the Wii was going to freshen things up and give you whole new experiences that you've never had before.

And for me, they were exactly right.

Everything I've played so far on the 360, feels like it could easily have been acheived on the Xbox - at slightly lower res, with the exception of FIFA.

The Wii offers a unique experience, in that a) it's the first video games machine that the whole family can play together, and enjoy equally & on an even keel and b) a control method that sits wonderfully with FPS's, and breathes a little desperately needed life in to the genre - as does the DS.

    You are.

You are attacking the wii, the presumed promises Nintendo failed to deliver, and doing this in isololation, when others are trying to explain to you that ALL hype from all marketing of ALL consoles is just that: Hype. You're also attacking Nintendo and the wii in sololation without any specific facts to back up your vague recollection of the original announcements.

So. You ARE singling the wii out. AND you ARE wrong in your OP.

You are wrong, blinkered AND a troll... Why can't you see this?

In relation to ME's assertion that I was suggesting the Wii had failed where the others had succeeded. Which was fabrication of the highest order.

deem, if you're going to quote, quote in full. And in context.

And I see that the bundy hate squad is back in town, so probably no point in continuing in this thread any longer.

I'd like to thank all those who took part in a fair and largely successful discussion. It's nice to know that aside from the usual clique of diehard grudge-holders, everybody else has clearly moved on. I take a lot of positives from this thread, and all the barbs from a 1% of posters can't change that. Harmony has reigned, let the haters froth and fume.

'bundy hate squad' = 'people with working brains'.,

Yes, people with brains tend to ruin your threads. I wonder why?

Thread wasn't ruined though. Despite their best efforts. Great discussion! Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Actually a point was being raised that whilst one has failed, so have the others in the same way so why highlight the one on its own. Your inability to discuss things like a normal person is why your threads fails (ignoring the trollingness and contradictions throughout).

Blaming grudges for people disagreeing with you should help you through life so keep trying that.

I am convinced he smokes a pipe, wears a smoking jacket and has a long curly moustache for some reason. Kinda like a sherlock holmes villain.

Not an insult more a strange imagination.

It really is fascinating to match the username to the responses in the thread. One would think that there was a clutch of posters seething with hatred and bitterness for a poster that they could never quite best, and who is posting freely to this day, while the other 99% couldn't really give a flying fuck about all this animosity either way...

Nah. It's just a stone cold coincidence that it's the same names that continuously crop up whenever there's a good bash session to be had. Pure coincidence!

    :)
