@askew It's just how EA goes about singleplayer. They've got one of two approaches.

    1) Make franchise where the singleplayer is shit and tagged on. When a game in said franchise is a commercial failure, blame the singleplayer (e.g. Battlefield). Desperately avoid any suggestion that poor reviews, poor word of mouth or shoddy monetisation practices might have been factors.

    2) Make really good singleplayer game, fail to market it and send it out in a horribly inappropriate release slot. Blame failure on "nobody buys singleplayer games any more" (e.g. Titanfall 2).

And yet despite all that, they do continue making singleplayer games.

Maybe an idea not to allow a small bean regarder to live 3 doors down from a school.

EA are blaming that failure on a couple of things. First, the focus on a singleplayer campaign rather than a battle royale mode.
Who buys BF for the single player? o_O I did enjoy what I played of the stories, but when the game lost my progress on the Nordlys story, I couldn't be arsed replaying.
I bought BF One for the single player, albeit after it had dropped to 3.99 in a PSN sale...

Pacrifice wanted to know if it was worth a punt at that price.

That could have been a one sentence correction.

Well, at the time British airwaves were shown down here too, so your problem was also our problem (not that I was alive in the 60s and 70s when he was most popular).

Anyway, he presented on a children's show in Perth for a while, but he spent most of his time in the mother country. He was mostly famous here in a sort of "local boy done good in the big city" kind of way. Until the nonce stuff - now he might as well have never existed at all.

The Airbus A380 goes out of production. I worked in the aviation sector until 2015. The surprise isn't that the A380 was a commercial failure, but rather that it took so long to go under.

A bad bet on an overly-binary vision of the future of air-travel.

Prefer flying on the 787 myself. The higher cabin pressure just makes flying feel less grim on all kinds of levels.

I've never noticed much of a difference. Having the crew override my window opacity pisses me off though.

Surely a return of the zeppelin is in order now. With todays solar tech it could be like a cruiseliner in the clouds.
