I'm confused as to how cutting a bottle in half has a step titled "set bottle on fire".

Life hacks need to fuck off in general.

How to make a vase out of a wine bottle

Step 1. Donít fucking bother and buy an actual vase for a couple of quid.

Also why do so many of them involve cement?

I was wondering that. Only idea I could come up with was to round off the sharp edges after glass cutting

Here's cool little New Yorker profile about modern competitive Tetris. It shouldn't be paywalled unless you've already read a few of their articles this month.

Article about the modern (well, last decade or so) VOD film industry, where they sell films by having 10 minutes of Bruce Willis (or Steven Seagal, Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, etc) in it, and then having them on the cover. It's mostly Bruce Willis though.

It's like the Gremlins 2 brainstorm sketch, except "what if Mama Fratelli was standing next to The Night King at cartoon basketball?"

If you have a spare couple of hundred (though you'll probably need more), you can buy the prop skull of That Fucking Nightmare Bear in Annihilation. Side skull and human teeth and all.

    Best. School Trip. Ever.

I mean, who doesn't want to experience what appears to be a CS teacher's midlife crisis on a trip to Costa Rica? Bus wankers?

Pretty sure my 6th form teachers did all 3 of these on a trip to Italy.

    Drinking with pupils

Allowing one or more pupils to drink alcohol despite being under the legal age of 18

Threatening to "kick the head in" of one pupil and "kill" another

Although the latter was just bants. Good times.

Yeah we got hammered with the teachers on the water sports holiday (not piss) when I was about 14. One of the kids in the year below shit his camp bed. I believe he still gets called "Shit the bed" to this day.

Our head of year bought the popular kids beer and encouraged them to have an impromptu boxing match when we went on a school trip to France.

We didn't have teachers encouraging drinking on trips, but we did (albeit slightly before my time) have a molesty priest. The drinking/strip club thing definitely sounds more fun than Father O'Gropes.

They also used to arrange parties for us at the end of term, in local night clubs/bars etc. Private party, didn't matter if we were underage. Mad.

Next you'll be saying the teachers would hire a stripper for you.
