I finish this Friday and go back on following Thursday, 3 Jan.

Nice break but would have been nice to have two full weeks.

I'm off from today, and back on the 10th of Jan. So, 20 days off in total (although I'll have to keep an eye on the SQL server replication).

Looking forward to it this year. My family had a couple of awful things happen last Christmas, so we're hoping for a better one this time. I've also worked my backside off at work and haven't taken a day off since mid-August - so I feel like I've earnt a rest. I also have an (excited) 6 year old daughter - who's now able to get 77% on the first song in Guitar Hero 3 (under 'Easy'); so that'll keep her occupied whilst daddy plays Mass Effect :D

I honestly think I'd consider quitting my job if they told me I had to work Christmas eve/Boxing day
Boxing Day is arguably the biggest racing day of the year, so if I wasn't in a betting office I'd be watching and betting on the racing in one way or another - might as well get paid for it. ^_^

After today I'm off until Jan 3rd.
