Finished at midday today, back in Jan 2nd afternoon. Uni shuts down over Xmas so for the last 23 years I get off from 21st-ish off until 2/3 Jan, all without touching my 32 days + BH leave. And I'm most happy about it.
    :)

The question wasn't "how long do you reckon you've got left".

London is actually relatively pleasant for just 3 days of the year in between Christmas and New Year so I don't like taking the days off, also don't get the option either.

Today was my first day off. Now off till Jan 2nd. Christmas is the best for time off. Got the tail end of nasty man flu though... Great. Could be worse. Could be at work.

Been off today, played golf in the thick fog and didn't lose a ball - which was nice

Back in on 2nd Jan but I don't think much work will happen that week as most will still be off

Finish tomorrow and it'll drag like a seals arse. Just the three days off again this year and then back in for 10 days until my week off.

I should have been off new year's day but you can't do enough to help a good company out....when double pay is offered

    A day.

Been off since the 13th, but then I've been moving house, so it's not like a holiday. Usually I take a couple of weeks as I enjoy the build up.

Last day on the 22nd, go back on the 3rd. The days between Christmas and New year I had to book off using leave.

When I was self employed I took about 2 or 3 weeks off. I wasn't very successful at being self employed.

I am self employed and very unsure of how much time to take off. I have worked one and a half days this past week and am considering returning to working on the 8th or 9th. It is hard this year motivate myself back to work.

I'm taking no time off at all. All the others at the company are, so I'm stuck picking up the phone. Looking forward to it, though. Not expecting much traffic, so could even get some (work) backlog cleared up before the new year.
