Still 189 to make them bat again.

Must say very angry at Pieterson. Don't get me wrong he is our best batsmen by far but there are times when I think he thinks more about him than the Team. Comes in smashes the ball about gets cocky and gets out. No need. All he had to do was watch Jimmy. I think we need atleast a ton partnership between Bell and Cook to have any chance, then were left with Ambrose and Freddie who are far from in form with the bat. Broad might hit a few but the nail will be in the coffin by then.

Down to Ambrose and Flintoff to spare England's blushes then...

    Can't stand cricket.

It's the hats, the posh boys playing it, "stopping for tea", and the stupid terms for everything (not to mention all the numbers) that do it.

That and it's just plain boring.

Stick to hide and seek then.

Yeah, it is a bit complicated. Start off just bouncing a tennis ball and see how you get on.

    ;)

    England 215-8 v South Africa

I knew as soon as England won the coin toss and asked to bat first that we would end up losing the first innings.

Not before time - decent captain, but shit batsman.

Went to the game yesterday. We'd decided to dress as women, but I thought I'd go one step better and dress as Amy Winehouse. Cue me walking to my seat looking smug as the 'best' dressed, only to find I was sat right next to about 30 of the Barmy Army all dressed as... Amy Winehouse!

I was the best looking of course.

Yeah, shame for Vaughan but it was time to go. You simply can't carry a captain in International cricket.

No clue who they'll go for now though, Strauss as an interim appointment could be a possibility - although tbh I'd like to see him dropped for good as I just don't rate him. The only other option would be Pietersen.

Pietersen been made captain. Good choice, a positive person and one that will probably become a little less selfish now that he is the captain.
Vaughan had to go. You cant lose to India and South Africa back to back years at home. And to so poorly in the World Cup. He was living off the glory of the Ashes victory for far too long.
