Dirtbox wrote:How would that work? Would the spices be able to penetrate the shell ok? /intrigued Most exotic curry I ever had was tandoori barracuda in Goa, fresh off the boat, you meet the fishermen at the sea in the morning, pick your fish, take it to the restaurant and come back later to eat. Lush it was. |

Most exotic curry I've had was on an island the size of a football pitch. I was the first white person to try it. I know that to be fact because my dad is an expert in tribes.
Anyway, the island has since been submerged due to global warming, so none of you can try it. Sorry. -
I could live with not having to shell one to try it curried up - will ask my local curry house next time I'm in if they would consider doing one with forewarning
-
I've ate a deep fried curried mars bar. -

Registered 16 years agoI'm currently working my way though the BBC's Good Food - 101 Curries book.
Different one each week, has a variety of Malaysian, Thai, Indian etc
Makes a nice change from being boring and having your favourite time and time again. -

Do you not find yourself having to go to the shops endlessly to get the right ingredients though? -

I was talking about nicks starters are the same as main courses but dry comment.

To a degree, but most of them tend to crop up in other recipes so its not to much of a problem. -
