My old boss met his current wife online. She's a stunner as well. I thought recently I might dangle my rod and see what bites. Ever thought of checking out dating sites yourself? |
Ever thought about signing up to a dating site?

You might want to try a more specialised kind of dating site for that. -
A friend of mine is signed up to a dating site. She keeps sending me email saying "Look at what this freak sent in a message to me!"
Don't think she has actually ever gone out with any of them :-D -

Registered 15 years agoI had a glance about a couple of free ones, they're mostly full of bints who are (a) stupid (such being as incapable of writing sentences without text language) (b) very unattractive, and (c) most likely incapable of getting a date in real life because of points a and b.
And I'm sure the decent women who do not fit the above categories get hundreds of messages a day from freak-like men, and are subsequently put off the whole thing. -
I would have no problem with doing this. It'd be like eBay but instead of buying gadgets I'd be shopping for 'birds'.

Registered 18 years agoOne of my mates did it. After a few dates with varying success, he finally met someone who he clicked with (who bizarrely worked at the same place as him..). They're now engaged and got a nipper on the way. I'd have no qualms about it at all. -
They must be fairly useful if you don't like going out to the usual places to meet people and have a fairly isolated job. -
Tried it after two friends of mine who never met, met eachother via a free dating site, added eachother of Facebook and realised they both had me in common on their friends list. Bizarre.
Nobody really floated my boat on it, though. The only girl I did get communicating with I still haven't met... and even then I only really kickstarted it because she's into the same sorta music.
I do have a friend who used it with some success to get laid though. -

Registered 16 years agoI dunno... I'd think the only people who rely on dating sites would be either people with no social skills, less than plain looking or the type that are so busy in their career they have no time to socialize. -
I would've said it was useful mainly for those busy with work, or who work in places where meeting people is difficult (really small or really big co/male dominated co).
