Sorry, can't help you, but my limited (ie, I tried it twice) experience with Automator was that it looked like it should be a piece of piss to use, but there's always some fiddling around with settings that needs to be done to make things work like they should that simply isn't user friendly unless you're in some way inclined towards the way a programmer thinks. I always just found a different way to do what I wanted, but you might try Googling for pre-made Automator actions. Someone might have already done something similar. I'm sure there's whole sites full of actions for it. |

Registered 18 years agoSo, ImageAlpha for teh mac is awesome in every way but one. It has no batch process flow.
So I thought I'd make an Automator thing that would open my files in ImageAplha and then does the "Save as...." command.
I got as far as opening the images in ImageAlpha but from there on I'm stuped. Any tips? -

Registered 18 years agoSorry, don't know ImageAlpha, but I've heard good things about Graphics Converter, which is scriptable and pretty much made for batch jobs. -
