I had one of those fucking awful new kit kat things today. I swear they've basically got a kit kat, pulled the top layers of wafer off, got a squirrel to shit into a couple of compartments then covered the whole thing in chocolate hoping no one will notice.

It's a bit like a Kinder Bueno bar - and they're fucking horrible as well.

Best chocolate bar of the moment is the Lindt Chilli Choc. Though it doesn't really qualify as a bar.

I love that stuff. It's sickly as hell but bloody lovely nonetheless.

What are those weird mint fondant filled bars? I keep thinking they're frys something or other but can't remember the name of 'em (my memory really is suffering with the lack of sleep at the mo).

pjmaybe - The Kit Kat Senses isnt quite as bad as your making out - I think the wafers actually better than the one you get in the Bueno...but that personal pref...
Take a look at my review and see which bits you agree and disagree with

    Kit Kat Senses Review

funny you should mention Lindt Chilli chocolate...im trying some montezumas white chocolate with Chilli later today - im really looking forward to it! Check the site later to see what I think.

S.J.Rogers - I will be trying their Turkish Delight out soon but I have such a heavy back load of chocolate to review/sample at the mo it could be a few weeks. Why dont you buy one and then once I have done my review let me know what you thought compared to what I did.

As for people talking about the Fry's Chocolate mint/cream bars I had one of these a few weeeks ago and tbh I thought it wasnt the best..im still to try the orange/mint/TD variants which im sure I will get round to soon but for the minute check out my review tommorow ...

Frys Chocolate Cream! That's the sucker!

I tried another Senses bar just to make sure and nope, I really do not like the horrible burnt taste of the middle bit.

I have had the Lindt with Chilli and its great.

Tastes just the same as normal Lindt Chocolate but has the great Hot aftertaste.

Very nice change and now i want some more.

    Lindt Lindor Truffles

I reviewed the Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles last night...I thought they were particulalry excellent! Anyone else a fan? Anyone tried the different flavours? Peanut Butter sounds good to me! Let me know on the site!

S.J.Rogers - Your a fan of the chilli factor to then eh! Great stuff isnt it. I was so unsure of it before I tried it and just believed it to be a bit of a gimmick but that Montezuma bar proved it wasnt the other day! My mission now is to get hold of the Lindt one. How hot was the actual bar? I honestly think that some people may find the Motezumas too spicy!

    Montezuma Chilli bar

boabg - Hmm I know what you mean about Turkish delight smelling a bit like perfume...thats why im a bit hesitant to get on to reviewing the frys and Cadburys version...anyone actually reccomend these bars or shall I not waste my time?

The lint Chilli Chocolate is great.

Lint Chocolate is by far one of the best tasting chocolates on the market. Not too over sweet (The main problem with most chocolate bars on sale) and has the REAL chocolate taste that most BIG chocolate manufactures lack.

The spicy hot after taste is not too hot.

My GF who does not overly like spicy food quickly finished off my bar..!

    Aero Mint

Possibly one of the best websites ever! Got to say the Duncan's hazelnut bar is probably one of my favourites. I did however love the bar, Secret. This was only out for a little while and then disappeared. :(

I only had two Wispa bars and now that they're gone I'm shocked.

Talk about pain..Why couldn't they have simply gotten rid of that Dairy Milk Bubbles business and bring Wispa back full time?
