| Should never have been box office even with Cleverly, but that's Frank Warren for you- utter greed. Cant' stand the guy or DeGale for that matter, love to see Groves put him on his arse. |

Registered 15 years agoI'd quite like to see Froch destroy DeGale also, hope they make that fight, Warren wont' be interested in that though. -

Registered 13 years agoThe Cleverly fight earlier was a disappointment, but Groves - DeGale is bubbling up nicely. Groves' game plan is working great so far. -

Registered 16 years agoI have it 3-1 for Groves so far.
Looks in control throwing good punches in combinations on the back foot.
I REALLY wish is could turn off the Jim Watt commentary though, he is truly awful. -

Registered 13 years agoI thought it was even, but only a point in Groves' favour, DeGale must be pissed. -

Registered 16 years agoHappy for Groves, thought he may have stepped off the gas too much at the end but glad he won. -

Registered 19 years agoDelighted for Booth and Groves. If DeGale had Booth training him he would have won, hope DeGale gets a better trainer than McDonnell. -

Registered 14 years agoBHop is my favourite boxer, the only active ATG with Manny right now.
I was at the O2 yesterday and had the fight for DeGale by about 2/3 rounds. He looked to be doing more damage to Groves, was coming forward and trying to make a fight of it and landed cleaner punches. Groves spent the fight on his bike, and didn't look to do much apart from counter pot-shots. Poor show from him really.
DeGale with a better trainer would ease past him. Be interesting to see what happens next, a rematch would be awesome. -

Registered 14 years agoJust watched the re-run on SBO, I have no idea how the judges gave it to Groves, his face was an absolute mess at the end of the fight. Yes he landed more but DeGale landed the cleaner, more powerful shots and was pushing the fight to Groves throughout the fight. -

Registered 14 years agoYeah, love the guy. Outside the ring he is a class act too.
Him vs Froch in the UK would draw huge money. But it seems he has his eyes on Dawson and Bute which would be a waste of time.
He wants to box until he's 50! -

Here we go. Good night ahead. .gif)
(Been watching a bit of WEC and MMA lately (as it's on every night on ESPN and Extreme), but boxing is, and always will be, the most skilled and artful, the King of the fighting sports.) -

Registered 19 years agoThink they are showing Kessler comeback fight as well also Gavin Rees is fighting for European belt so should be a good night ahead -
Strange, Adam Darke is commentating on the USA vs Spain game on ESPN right now, he might be pulling a double shift tonight as he's the main Sky boxing commentator and a bloody good one too.
