@GoatApocalypse I was exactly the same. I trained in a boxing gym for 3 months and needed an end goal otherwise I had no real long term motivation. Signed up for white collar fighting and 3 fights later I've lost a stone and had some excellent experiences and made new friends.

I'd definitely recommend signing up. I trained with WCF, I know a guy who trained with Ultra WCF but I get the feeling it's a bit more hardcore whsn WCF.
What's Ultra WCF? The MMA stuff?
No it's just another outfit that run white collar fights.

There's two main outfits Ultra WCB and WCF who run both boxing and MMA.

I did it the 8 week camps WCF but also did 2 days PT a week In a boxing gym with a amateur boxer who's just turned pro.

@GoatApocalypse For a beginner, reach is always a good tool to have.

£5 a pop is incredibly cheap.

Whyte v Chisora on the 22nd.

The last one was a cracker. Hugely entertaining.

Not sure this one will reach those heights. Feels a bit manufactured as neither really are good enough to be challenging Joshua.

Still, I would watch it if I was in the UK, just on the chance they repeat the 2016 epic.

Whyte had AJ giving it bambi legs in their first fight.

I think he’s a good heavyweight, could definitely give most people problems.

I think Whyte knocks out chisora, then beats Joshua.

Wow. Bold claim, considering Chisora technically won the last one.

Yeah if Chisora is telling the truth about sorting his lifestyle out, he beats Whyte despite the height difference. He doesn’t beat many others in the division though

I think Whyte is improving every fight. Joshua hasnt looked great in his last 3. Only a prediction but I've got a feeling about Whyte

    I lol'd disproportionately at this.

I'd love for someone to do a mockumentary about Mike and call it this.

I'd love to see the dude from Wythenshawe's reaction.

Got myself some gloves and a head guard. Been doing 100 press-ups every other day, and kettle bell drills every other day too. Just started running - aiming for 3 miles a week to begin with, gradually going up to 15k.

Should get me in a good state by the end of March...
