I need someone to translate this page (no Google does not help :p). The GAF seem to be certain that this is a new entry in the VP series, though it will be a male lead.

    Someone confirm!

Japanese blog page that I can't read

Not a very good translation. It doesn't seem to be able to decide if it's a male lead or a female lead - it swaps gender throughout the text. :-D

Set any age or era is not detailed in writing, Les eggplant and collect the soul of the dead

Is 'eggplant' really the word they were looking for? ;-)

A postscript is added by 15:25 Caradeza because it wrote slightly.
    11:26 details are added.

    Person who shoulders Valkireprofailu accusation-

    Release date/undecided
    Price/undecided
    Manufacturer/square Enix model/NINTENDO DS genre/RPG

    Under the page
    Developed by tri-Ace Inc./Character illustration:KOU YOSHINARI / YOU YOSHINARI

    It writes.
The description with AAA is none. ..other text.. develop
The theme is revenge on the god.

From VP1 whether story because of writing that Renas collects dead' souls in age of the previous state though not written by details which age age setting is

Scene where Renas and Wilfred do guard approach each other to Scsho like Movie etc.
Scsho of the battle scene is none.
In the event scene, one Scsho is a quarter view. It is the same as VP1 that the standing picture of the character is displayed when talking. Dialog..talk..character..picture..edge..display..map..character..dot..feel.

    Hero: Wilfred
Man a man. Silvery hair. Young person soldier who hates war maiden from experience of the past.
It obtained it from Hel of the nether world. 「..wing (.. wing of goddess that can win fight?)」It is determined to fight against pantheon. It seems to dye the wing blacking it every time Wilfred uses the power of the wing.

    Other character

    Renas
The introduction sentence「It is called the war maiden on the ground. Second daughter of
three goddesses who rules fate. 」It is being written.
From VP1 whether age of the previous state

    Aris
Woman of mystery visited from nether world. Wilfred is helped.

    Dialog
Hel is power to give to Wilfred and the wing.
Whether to use it like the mind.

    Ann cell
    Best friend of Wilfred.

Conclusion: May be set before VP1, Male lead. Theme is revenge against God, AAA release. References to "wings" here, are most likely to be feathers.

    Works for me :-)

A mod can take out the "?" (though that subtitle looks dodgy :p)

The translation's first line is classic :-)

After Psone, the PSP and Playstation 2, it is with the tower of Nintendo DS to accomodate one of best the licences of Enix Public garden : Valkyrie Profile.

    The article says:

"Valkyrie Profile: The One Who Bears All the Blame [accused is a little inaccurate]

    Release date: TBA
    Price: TBA
    Developer: Square Enix
    Platform: DS
    Genre: RPG

At the bottom of the page:

Developed by tri-Ace, character design Kou Yoshinari, You Yoshinari

    is written.

Beside that, there's no mention of tri-Ace in the main article.

The theme is revenge against the gods.

The settings time and details were not written, but it mentions Lenneth collecting souls, so it's before Valkyrie Profile 1?

In the screenshots that look like movies, there are scenes like Wilfred and Lenneth in hot battle and so on. There are no battles screens.

The screenshots for event screen is taken in quarter view [like isometric]. When talking the character's standing pictures is displayed, just like in VP1. Beside the character picture next to the script on the side, the pixel characters and other graphics bear something of a feel close to Disgaea 3.

    Main character: Wilfred

A human. Silver-haired. He's a young man soldier who hates the Battle Maiden due to a past incident. He procures "A pair of wings that can win victory (goddess wings?)" from Hel in the underworld and becomes determined to fight. It would appear that every time Wilfred uses the wing's powers, they become stained blacker and blacker.

    Other characters

    Lenneth

In the introduction paragraph, all that's written: "On earth, called the Battle Maiden. The second daughter of three who rule over destiny!"

    Before VP1's time?

    Eilis

A mysterious woman from the underworld. She accompanies and helps Wilfred.

Part of the script [viewed from one of the screenshots]:

'That's a power of the wings that Hel said she bestowed upon you for a reason. Whether you use them or not, is at your heart's discretion.'

    Ansel

    Wilfred's good friend"

And that's it. I think the game looks good, it's got attractive sprites very much of the style seen in VP1 and the environment graphics thus far resemble Revenant Wings. The character design as always bears that Valkyrie Profile look that Kou and You give the series.

I think it's kind of weird that the main character is named Wilfred, sounds like the name of a butler. :p One should keep in mind though that these things aren't confirmed quite yet.

Nice to see another VP game being made. I'll be keeping an eye on this, I loved VP1 & 2. I do hope though that the game isn't going to be in isometric view like that screenshot.

    Theres a magazine scan here

Did you guys happen to hear of the cool new system they revealed for this game? Apparently, since the game is made to have a multi-branching plotline so that the main characters personality and the tale itself changes, one of the ways that's brought about is through an addition to the battle system called the Goddess Wings.

The Goddess Wing icon is in the lower right corner of the battle system menu and you can use it at any time. The person you give the wings of the goddess to will have strength and literally ten times their usual and be able to access special skills they couldn't otherwise get (apparently). So wouldn't that make the game too easy? What's the deal? Well the catch is, they die after the battle. No, not die and can get restored at any time. As in, dead, gone, don't participate in the story anymore (well, since this is Valkyrie Profile, maybe not as a human being anymore). When you use the wings of the goddess, their deaths will change the plot and the protagonist's personality.

I don't know about you, but I'm impressed. With stuff like the new formation battle effects and the redone enemy encounter system and bringing over some of Valkyrie Profile 2's system while keeping intact the each-party-to-one-button battle system, this game more and more looks like the real deal. Especially since all the character personalities they revealed so far live up to the unique, austere reputation of the series.

    HOT!

Cool. But my Fire Emblem loving heart will never allow me to sacrifice anyone.

Although, maybe they make it a requirement at some point? Integrated into the storyline in a especially badass way? Exciting. :)

Sounds like an interesting idea, but whats to stop you giving these 'Wings' to each character in turn? There must be something to limit it's use otherwise you could presumably wipe out your entire party & the main character with-in the space of 5 minutes.

Well you can't usually kill off characters permanently in games through your own choice and affect the story. It's a little different to just letting your entire party wipe out, causing a game over.
