Obviously I don't think the above, but it's what it seems to boil down to in today's society.

Registered 20 years agoMostly it's just social convention. In the seventies you could tell anything from a funny to an outrageously hateful and offensive joke about women, blacks, 'micks', japs, whatever. Now there's a stigma attached to certain types of predjudice.
If it's funny and not meant in a mean-spirited way, I have no problems with the odd off-colour joke. -

Registered 15 years agoI think it all depends on the individual - in my office, we've got South African, Dutch, Italian, Welsh and Turkish people, as well as Muslims, Catholics, etc and we all just take the piss out of each other.
