Registered 13 years agoYep, sales are open to Free users (apart from I Am Alive, which is only for Gold).
Sales will end Monday night/Tuesday morning.
Apparently, there's also going to be an extra '1-Day sale' this Friday & the following Monday.

With a bit of luck they'll have some stupidly priced stuff that I have to buy even though I know I'll never play them. I need more hard drive space. Can I buy a slim 250gb hdd and just swap over the caddies? -

If QC is a good/silly price, I may very well be tempted.
Any thoughts on Harley Quinn's Revenge' and 'Leviathan' DLCs. I have both B:AC and ME3 still to play but may be tempted to get the DLCs if they're on the cheap... -
When does Leviathan kick in? I'm playing ME3 at the minute but I haven't made it very far yet. I don't want to restart, but if it's very cheap and integrates well I could be tempted. -

Both straight onto the backlog pile, although I'll probably start Spelunky quite soon as I'm lacking in 'just 5 more minutes' type games at the moment.
Will probably pick up Leviathan regardless, and maybe Harley Quinn and Quantum Conundrum depending on the price. -
Tempted to get Leviathan... it's good, right? -

Registered 11 years agoThis sale hasn't helped my backlog.
Already got Spelunky, loved the SC5 demo, seriously tempted by Magic 2013 (+ expansion) and would also like Quantum Conundrum at that price...DAMN!
On the flip side, I've just bashed through IAM, which I thought was a solid 4/5. Played on the 'Survivor' setting which had its enjoyably challenging moments. Think I was going for too much of a perfect run - restarting after pretty much every wasted bullet. When the apocalypse comes, I'm going to be a proper hoarder... ;P
It's not too insanely hard, but I think you'd probably enjoy the story more if you played on Normal. Achievement whores (like me) will need to play on the top difficulty, however.
Enjoyed it enough for a second play through, which I may try on Normal to see if it's a less stressful experience :0) -
