Death Comes Crawling's Looking for Semblance. Its like 80's synthwave, maybe a lil darkwave? the whole album's been pretty cool to listen to, keep going back to it.

Sounds like noise to me lol. Will give a proper listen later.

Actually I am totally confused. Think it’s not on spotify, and instead came up a song called death comes crawling.

Mega Drive - I am the program.

Not sure this can be considered that new, but it is electronic and I love it, so nyugh.
I had Mega Drive playing in Soundcloud while I worked. It came to a track that suddenly caught my attention so I checked it's name. Yes it was I am the program :) That is a tune!

@mAc6 These are probably up your straat. :)

A bit old, but the Bicep album is pretty good, but this track is on another level:

OK. We all know it was only a matter of time before I went Stefensen.

I have uploaded some electronic music that a friend and I made 20 years ago:

The first thing we did. Too long. A bit like Future Sound of London:
    https://www.indiesound.com/index.php?a=track&id=37414

The second. This one was used as background music in a Greater London Buses educational video about disability access.
    https://www.indiesound.com/index.php?a=track&id=37415

The mixing is horrible. And we were talentless. But we took a lot of drugs, and that has to count for something, right.

One of the weird tracks that I posted on the indiesound website the other day has apparently had over 1000 listens.

I only put it on there because I was drunk, reading eurogamer, and feeling nostalgic. (Not a particularly unusual state of affairs, sadly...)

    https://www.indiesound.com/index.php?a=track&id=37415

I don't know how they count "listens" but there is no way 1000 real people have got through all 10 minutes of that...

GosT is supporting Carpenter Brut when they play here on 1 May. I didnt really like that new album (or older stuff) something not quite right to me.

It's definitely not for everyone, they/he? sounded more Carpenter Brut-like on Behemoth from 3 years ago, if you've tried that.

@BinaryBob101 That Bicep video is beautiful. I love wondering off the beaten track on a quiet summer evening and that video captures the feeling perfectly.

Jon Hopkins has released another track from the forthcoming Singularity album. I've heard this a few times live and like a lot of his work it's both banging and meditative.

The full, magisterial, epic, near eleven minutes is on Spotify:

    https://open.spotify.com/album/2V7WzvwI73Z1wyjvQvuZUZ

TL;DL don't do Spotify? There's a five minute edit here with a lovely visualiser:

Can't wait for the album in May and to see him live at The Albert Hall in Manchester in November.

Anybody else going to see the tour?

@Technoishmatt looks a bit subdued for a Carpenter Brut gig? Especially during Turbo Killer as well.. I'd be going nuts.

There's a new Orbital album on the way, looking forward to that!

Also the new EP from NiN is out 22nd June so that ties in nicely with me going to see them in London ;)

This was one of the first sets at Boomtown this year

Boomtown 2018 Jungle Cakes Takeover - Ed Solo B2B Benny Page B2B Deekline B2B Serial Killaz

    https://soundcloud.com/edsolo/boomtown-2018-jungle-cakes-takeover-ed-solo-b2b-benny-page-b2b-deekline-b2b-serial-killaz

    It's filthy :D

Also it absolutely cunted it down with rain, proper monsoon style, which actually made it all very awesome and mental

Same, never been to a Carpenter Brut gig where everyone wasn't going apeshit. :) Although the track these days that gets the biggest reaction is their excellent cover of Maniac.

Can anyone recommend any deep house/techno albums? Don't have to be new, just looking to learn a bit about the genre.

    Also mixcloud accounts to follow?

Looking for something kind of meditative but with a bit of energy, if that makes sense!
