Currently listening to daft punk discovery album. Are there any albums I can check out with this type of sound/quality. Generally I hate house type music you hear in the charts but there must be loads of quality albums like discovery I'm missing out on.

Mirwais - Production from 2000 still sounds like music from the future.

It's got that very distinct French electronic sound and is an all-time classic. Naive Song (Track 2) is awesome.

If you like this, he produced Madonna's Music album later on, which regardless of it being uncool to like Madonna is a good album.

I just flicked through that. Sounds pretty good so I've added it but maybe a higher bpm like discovery.

I don't know know that this quite qualifies as electronic music as it's more electro pop, but Confident Music for Confident People by Confidence Man is unabashedly brilliant and definitely up-tempo.

It's knowingly cheesy as fuck but I can't help but love every song. I've been to see them live, too, and they put on a hell of a show. Seeing them again at the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge in April. :D

He also produced American Life which is laughably bad.

    And this:

Maybe check out Justice early albums. Then crack on witgh Simian Mobile Disco to go off the beaten track a bit. Listen to a Daft Punk Radio Station on whatever streaming service you use, loads of new stuff will be chucked at you there.

Perhaps Justice? I liked their sound before they got overly funky in their last two.

A couple of years old but new to me.
Field Music - Disappointed (French 79 remix) which led me to other French 79 stuff, worth checking out the Olympic album

    Carpenter Brut: Bloodmachines OST

    https://carpenterbrut.bandcamp.com/album/blood-machines-ost

Or whatever streaming service you are on. Listening now, getting some Daft Punk Tron type vibes, not a bad thing.

Not new but I love everything Metronomy puts out. Some of their stuff when it's first released i'm a bit iffy about but about a week later I can't stop listening to it. Didn't like this when I first heard it but i've listened to it countless times since. Their sound is great and their videos are always really well produced.

Not sure if everyone already knows about it but I've been listening to Rival Consoles recently after he popped up on a playlist and he's pretty great.

I heard Recovery on an advert about a month ago so, obviously, they are now completely over for me now.

    Good while it lasted, though.

Fucking love this. Would be great on a movie soundtrack. Like a rainy scifi landscape.
