Yeah I enjoyed it overall. Cant really think of any misses for me and the missus off the top of my head.
Dont know why I've not noticed earlier but considering Gavin and Stacey are the main characters, they're far and away the least interesting in the whole show. There vanilla as fuck. And yes Gavin's hair pissed me off just looking at it.

I kind of hated it. It was super phoned in and the writing was lazy as fuck. About 70% of the episode was fake reminiscing.

The duet in the pub was super cringe. And who cares about the Christmas puddings. And yeah, fake reminiscing was dull too.

It did feel like a reheated best of show, 10yrs passes but they wheel out the same old stuff. Tbf if it works why change as I suppose people who like it are looking for that kind of nostalgia.

As for the episode. It was ok enough, prob a low 6/10.

I didn't realise it was so popular though, it got the best viewing figures on Xmas day and all the "kids" were watching it
