I'm not sure if they patched the remaining check points or something. But it honestly felt like 90% of my time was wondering around an empty map.

    Steep

Its on psn+ right now and can see why its so cheap to buy and CEX is filled with copies. Its very soulless to play, it feels like 600+ people made across 4 or 5 studios like automated production line. It does not play terrible but it does not that something that made SSX tricky and SSX3 really fun to play. (Also I had to find my ubisoft club password as the game forces you to point it in to play it as never entered it on my ps4)

    Meh/10

I will probably abandon Sonic and SEGA All Star Racing (PC). Finished the beginner races and most of missions, saw the credits roll so I don't think there is much else to see. Apart from the same tracks on harder difficulty (which I suck at). The game is great though, so colorful and happy feeling it makes one's heart sing. Well done, SEGA.

AC Odyssey. Lovely world, just can't get past the woeful combat.

@Daeltaja wow....really enjoyed the combat especially compared to past ACs.
    To each his own :)

edit: As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for the fun combat I would have abandon the game since the game's so long.

I'm close to abandoning RDR2 because I just don't like it very much. The setting is ace, but I don't think the game is very good at all.

All the people abandoning RDR2 are flooding ebay with copies, think I will pick up one cheap and see for myself.

CEX has a silly number of RDR2, Pokemon Lets Go and Smash Bros Ultimate copies.

Each of them has a dedicated shelf in the one I went into yesterday.

What's the beef with RdR2? I hear it's not very engaging as a game to play and the story not being much cop.

OnRush - liked it at first but it's not holding my attention. Feels like Blur in some instances - don;t get me wrong it's a good game just dosen't feel right. Even for a arcade like competitive racer that it is.

I'm enjoying RDR2, but totally understand people getting burned out by it. In fact, I'm on hiatus with it atm.

It's very very good, but a bit samey I guess. Ride here, shoot them, ride away. It's also a very large game, geographically (it can take 5 minutes to go between missions) and in terms of missions. The side missions are really good and interesting, so progress through the game feels really slow. If completeness is a thing that bothers you, it's easy to get fatigued with choice.

Rdr2 is up there for worst controls of any aaa game ever. I tried 3 hours and dropped it. Keep meaning to retry but it was that bad I canít be bothered. Still on my to try again list as the people who push through loved it.

I would trade but market is saturated 2nd hand and I probably should try again.

    Call of Cthulu

Abandoned this at a late game insta fail section (one of several, but this one I failed in the same spot a handful of times and I have no patience for that crap). It's a shame, while the game is a bit shonky there's a lot of good stuff here, including mechanics I've not really seen before. But then it's mixed in with some truly awful sections.

    Black Ops 4
It maybe me, but it feels like half a game, straight into multiplayer which tbh I just donít like anymore.. way to chaotic, almost random, blackout is quite good but not worth the 70 gig on my hard drive...
Actually ive found the last two cod disappointing and I swear blops 3 looked better than both of them..
Anyway shall trade, Iím probably just too damn old, bless me.. ;)

I can see why people love Ashen, the art is brilliant, I loved the tone and the music. It was just too difficult though so I wouldn't go back to it.

Celeste I've done two chapters of and I'm loving the interstitial bits, I'll be turning on some of the assist mode stuff pretty soon though I'm sure!

Agree though, these are two games I wouldn't have played at all if it weren't for GamePass, and I'm glad I've at least spent some time with both.

    We Happy Few

Wanted to like it as I like the retro futuristic dystopia world but the game is broken mess still and lot of the quests are shitty fetch quests. The stealth and fighting is bad and you will be doing a lot of these across the three acts. Got to act 2 (the 2nd playable character and she is underpowered and its horrible grind to make any drugs you can use as weapons. Game balancing is something the devs don't get. act 1 is quite unbalanced until half way through then you are so over powered, you can kill everyone

Even on gamepass, its not worth playing until they can fix more bugs and balanced up act 2 a bit more

Given We Happy Few 1,5 hours and fuck me is it boring tripe. Beautiful but so dull.

I had to stop and play the latest SOTR Challenge Tomb DLC.

Not deleted We Happy Few yet but my desire to return to it is negative 1000.

I agree that the fighting is utter tosh

    Pubg

It must be popular for a reason. Prefer gta 5 online if I had to choose.

Dying Light: Enhanced Edition - *zombie moans in boredom*

Red Dead Redemption 2 Online - *cowboy sighs in boredom*

The Division - "Welcome to the Lag-pocalypse!"

I'm gonna go buy RE2: Remastered...

EDIT: Apologies, "Remake", not "Remastered". And "going to", not "gonna". Sigh...

    Hotline Miami 2

I liked the first game, but there's something about this sequel that simply doesn't sit well with me. I don't know if it's the disjointed nonsensical story, or the wider and more packed levels that seem specifically suited for gunplay, but it's simply not as fun.

Soul Calibur VI. It's actually good, but I don't really dig the changes. Will buy it again when it's cheap.

I really loved Hotline Miami 2 but it did take a while for me to realise wtf was going on with the story. Once it clicked though, I remember thinking it was cool.
