Hey all, lookin' some advice. I'm going to London for a course all of next week. I arrive early Sunday morning and am there until Friday night. I was hoping to go see a movie in the Imax, as I've only seen the wee 45 minute Imax movies and never a full main movie in the Imax. Anything else cool/fun/interesting that you'd recommend while in London? All advice is very much appreciated, thanks in advance. Wayne. |

If I lived in London, I would go to late nights at the Science Museum . It sounds fun. Ubergeeky, but fun. Next one is this Wednesday. -

Heard this was excellent, love to see this...won't someone fly me over to London for this?? I can tell really imaginative and hyper-unrealistic stories as payment. -

Registered 17 years agoElbow Rooms are great, although I'm not so sure about the burgers... 0_o. Sure they're better than Maccys, but no better than regular pub grub.
Old Street venue is better than the Angel one too. Angel was is slightly shady. Never been to the West London one though. -

West London one is pretty shabby these days - I wouldn't bother. -

This guy is right. The Elbow Room (when there was just one) was last good about fifteen years ago -

I'm attending a three day course in London this week, staying in Euston and the course is in East Finchley, I'm on a bit of a budget so wondered if anyone knew any where decent (and cheap) to eat out at night as the hotel I'm staying at is rather expensive.
It doesn't have to be in those areas, just wondered if anyone had any local knowledge of decent places to eat that's not places like mcdonalds and stuff that's already cheap!
Cheers. -
There is Tesco express in finchley I think.
