Only if we have filled out the "permission to love red tape and bureaucracy" form in triplicate...Otherwise we're just fond... -

If my friends did that with my corpse I'd consider it an honour. -

+1 that's a great tribute. The only way it could be improved would be if they had BBQ-ed him afterwards for the wake.

I might write a Weekend at Bernie's clause into my will, assuming my corpse isn't too messy. -

Here is something from that article to take to the boss in support of a pub lunch:
So how did Bohr keep his mind supple and flexible, ready to accept new ideas when his peers like Einstein couldn’t? Well, here’s the thing – there are several studies that indicate that being drunk can actually improve your creativity. That’s because it prevents your mind from being able to focus, so it more readily drifts from one connection to another, which can yield creative solutions to problems.

UK abstained as expected. I'm happy for the Palestinians. Let's just hope they can now start proper talks with Israel towards a lasting peace. I doubt that will happen anytime soon but i have to be hopeful.
Also, good luck to the civilians in Syria at the moment as it looks like big military offensives are starting up. Rebels have taken Damascus Airport it is being rumoured. That's another harrowing place to be.
I'm feeling a bit crappy and i hate my job and the way i feel i'm treated at the moment but that's nothing compared to what other's have to face daily. Civil war is shit.
