Registered 19 years agoI think you are one the minute you start vehemently and violently disagreeing with anyone who voices concern over how much you drink.
Of course, the other sign is that you swill your mouth out with mouthwash in the morning after brushing your teeth - and like the taste of it so much that you down the whole bottle... -

Registered 13 years agoWell over the course of a day I'll probably drink about half a bottle of whiskey, then if I go out I'll probably drink the equivalent of the other half. And sometimes I do get wasted on my own. /feels like a loser
But like I said it's rare that I'm 'drunk'... probably about once a week. -

if you get pissed while you are on your own at home but you're playing Halo on Live with some mates, does that count as drinking alone?
I hope not!

Is it sad that I would actually purchase this duvet set if it existed? -

All indications point to yes, you're an alchy at the moment. -
A bottle of whisky a day is quite pricey no?
Unless you drink shite that is. -

Even sadder that you would have to purchase it in Mainland China.
If you wanted the Master Chief duvet set, well that would be something else.

Registered 18 years agoPsiloc, why don't you go see your GP if you are worried?
Or try to cut down on your own, and if you can't then go see your GP. Like others said: If you can stop drinking for a prolonged period without too much trouble, then I'd say you are fine. If you can't, then you are dependent on it. -
I show up to ALL meets.
/that take place in Manchester
/less than 40 minutes away from my house -

You have a drinking problem when drinking gives you problems on a regular basis

Registered 14 years agoI just don't know what to say in this thread. I must be a massive alcoholic. However I couldn't care less, it doesn't affect my home life or job. I just like to drink, every day.
Unwind and all that...oh, and get completely out of it at the weekend of course, that's a given. What the hell else is there to do?
@ OP - Just swap whisky for some sort of ale/beer/wine, then you won't die so soon and you can still have all the fun! -

Registered 13 years agoI drink JD, or Bells if they're sold out. I haven't actually thought about the cost that much, may be a bit frightened to face how much I spend. -

Registered 15 years agoI often get the feeling that if I won the Lottery I'd probably be a complete alchy, and probably quite enjoy it as well.
Moderation for me is generally a side effect of not having enough money. -

See your problem is that you’re so fucking in love with the romantic notion of being an alcoholic. That you are some lone wolf McQuade, Tragic poet, Wideboy drinker.
Then you post about it on a fucking gaming Internet site?
Your other threads are occasionally quite clever but the drinking ones make you sound about 12.
It is BORING, no one comes on here and talks about how many carrots they can or do eat.
I got tired of hearing about how much people can and do drink when I turned 15.
