So, zooming through Liberty City last night and sensing that I’m approaching the end, I can’t help but wonder what they’ve got in store for us next.
Do you think they’ll follow a similar path with the sequels, ie expand the universe out into other cities before doing “GTA V”. Do you think they’ll return to Vice City and San Andreus? Will they keep to the same time periods with each?
Personally I’d love another Vice City set in the 80s with the GTA IV engine, but can’t help feeling that’s not very imaginative. Maybe something set in Europe or South American would be more interesting… -

Registered 14 years agoI made a thread in the GTA IV group like this, which isn't quite as much of a mess.
I reckon they'll definitely try to flog the most out of this engine and such with at least 1 different location before moving on to GTA V. -
Yes, I’d have thought one sequel was a definite, I suspect they’ll do as many as they can in fact, especially if EA do get hold of it. -

Re "do you think......" without a doubt. I think even with the dlc we will end up getting at least 1 more stand alone game using the engine/world.
I like you and it would seem a great deal of us would love to revisit Vice City.

I completed the story a good while ago now, so I'm interested to know how they are going to weave the dlc into it.
Maybe Nico moving on and taking over a new patch ? -
