Mmm got constant problems with my gta and 360. The game keeps hard freezing/locking up when im escaping the cops on the first or one of the early franklin missions. Tried everything they suggest on the internet as apparently many people with an older 360 models have the issue. Gutted really as I was getting into it. |

Completed and traded yesterday, for anyone interested they gave me £36 in cash!!! It cost me £32 so I got paid to play it which is awesome.
Overall it is a great game but for me 4>5. Five brings almost nothing that four already did except better visuals.
I would like to play a game called GTA Heist though as they were great.
8/10. -
I got robbed. £41.97 from Sainsbury's.
Well I say robbed, I actually used Nectard points. -

Registered 13 years agoRan into a bug in mission "Dead Man Walking". After clearing the morgue and jumping out of the window, Michael stands in front of the garbage bin, to the left hand side of the screen. I can't do anything but opening the menu, no matter how long I'm waiting. Everything is still moving and the day cycle is also in effect.
Replayed the mission twice, but to no avail.
Anyone else with the same issue? -
So guys since I cant play gta due to the freezing I still want a sandbox game to scratch my itch.
Which is the better game. Saints row 3 or 4? -

You may have played it already, but if you haven't then Sleeping Dogs is pretty good too if you want an open world crime style game and a nice change of location in Hong Kong.
Some people on here hated it, but I think the majority seemed to really enjoy it - myself included.

Registered 13 years agoSR4 is better as it has less difficulty spikes and better pacing. You'll enjoy it more if you play 3 first though.
edit: Sleeping Dogs is ace.

You know what I had totally forgot about sleeping dogs. Tell you what ive never played as well. Prototype 1 & 2 or either of the crackdown games. -
Yeah good shout as SLEEPING DOGS is ace. -
Will check out some reviews of Sleeping Dogs then. So its pretty similar to gta in terms of structure etc. Side missions, collectables and so on? -

Yep, and another one here who really enjoyed it - loads to do in game, racing, fighting, collectables, character upgrades, etc - and the main story is ace.

Seriously? We must have played different games as 5 did a tonne of stuff that 4 didn't, and whatit did do, it did so much better (apart from the driving).

Here's a vid (below) just showing some driving round the city in Sleeping Dogs, Hong Kong looks rather lovely in the game!
One thing though, if you get this then you'll have to get used to driving on the properleft side of the road after all the free roaming games set in America! I don't know if you're in the UK, but you'd be surprised how awkward it feels trying to remember to drive on the left in the game despite having to do that in real life myself; so many games have you driving on the right it took me a while to adapt, ha
!

@Rodriguez
Yeah im in the uk. To be honest I tend to drive on both sides of the road in these games anyway. Thanks for posting the link. Think I will get SD then. -

Registered 8 years agoI'm finding the property missions when you get a text saying one of your bars is being attacked / needs a delivery quite annoying.
I just ignore them. Just find the text more annoying than getting phoned by Niko's friends.

Once you've done them, they don't repeat. Plus their income goes up the more you do. -

I think Dale means that the specific missions for the particular businesses don't repeat. You might get others for the other establishments you own.

Yeah. Each business has it's own set of missions (aside from a couple). I think once you do them all, the income from the business goes up. Or it might be after doing a certain number, can't remember.
