Registered 12 years agoYour best bet is probably going direct to the publishers' sites, and taking it from there. -

The banner on the top says proudly "SIX GAMES FOR YOUR MAC"
Kind of describes the software situation. Anything to do work with, yep you're fine, things to have fun with, not so good. Unless you like making holiday videos.
I could turn into a Mac fanboy as I use them extensively for work, but when I mysteriously lost half my iTunes library, guess where the files were?... -

Registered 16 years agoOh, I know this one! Were they backed up properly on your external drive, because you're not an idiot? Is that the answer?

Loooooaaaaads of games run on Macs now, and even more run on Mac hardware if you boot into XP or whatever via Boot Camp. I guess it's easier for anti-Mac brigade members to spout the same old tired shite than it is to actually pull their finger out and come up with something else to drub us around the head with needlessly.
Where to download them? Legally? The games publishers, perhaps, assuming they provide that service? -

Registered 12 years agoHi,
bootcamp is really good if you have an intel mac., then get steam. If not then Macgamestore{dot}com do digital downloads and it's worth going to the Darwinia site as they do digital download of this awesome game (RTS tron type game).
Hope this helps,

Why the fuck is there not an official thread for "RTS TRON TYPE GAME"?
There was. When Darwinia came out on the PC. Years ago.
Macs for gaming is such an oblique idea. It's not a bad one per se, just an oblique one. Particularly given the feckin' price of mac games at retail. -
Well it's not illegal if you download games for the mac, as youknow, it's a fucking mac. No one cares.
