It's inevitable that the high street stores will remove all traces of PS2 games before too long, so which titles are you wanting to get most before you're unable to?

    I'm thinking...

    Suikoden Tactics
    Ace Combat Thunder
    Medal of Honour Vanguard
    Onimusha Dawn of Dreams
    Yakuza
Shadow Hearts: From The New World
    Onimusha 2
    ZOE 2
    Kessen III
    Way of the Samurai
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds.
    Outrun

...to name but a few. You?

I'm also looking for this ones:

    Yakuza
    ZOE 2
    Suikoden Tactics

I can say that I already have almost all the games I want from the PS2 era!

Luckly I already have this, even if Outrun is a HD gaming experience on the PC!
    Onimusha Dawn of Dreams
    Onimusha 2
    Outrun
    Okami

    Forgot Rogue Galaxy! O_o

I have perfect copies of ICO and SotC. Okami. Silent Hill 2 orginal box and platinum release, steambot chronicles and grandia 2 that I consider fairly rare. Have demoless ZOE and ZOE2, BG&E Arc Twilight of Spirits which I don't see around much.

    ICO
    SotC
    Okami
    Grandia 2
    BG&E
    Arc Twilight of Spirits

This ones I have... The first 3 are a dream to my gamer brain... The other 3 are just above 8/10 games... Very good...

Sir I salute you for having both ZOEs...I wish I had them!

Been thinking of picking up Ys: The Arc of Napishtim, or whatever its called, recently. I also want to get hold of (but for reasonable prices): SOS: The Final Escape, ZOE 1/2, WRC 3/4/5, MGS3 Subsistence, Persona 3, Yakuza, Silent Hill 2/3, and perhaps a Suikoden game.

Like Dragul, I've got most of the PS2 games I've ever wanted, although there are a few stragglers I've been buying off eBay over the past year or so.

God, I had totally forgotten about Dawn of Mana. Did it ever get a UK release, or is it down for one soon?

Oh yeah, I also want Yakuza 2, if it ever gets a sodding PAL release.

Also, would it upset you Aionic if I said I bought DMC3:SE brand new for a fiver not long after release? I think it was labelled up wrong, lucky me :)

Le Mans 24 Hours is rare / desirable?

Damnit, I had a copy of that and traded it in at some point. Never thought it was anything special though, my favourite part was the Dandy Warhols intro.

I've been blessed and have stumbled upon most of the games I wanted to collect. Not long ago, I happened upon Klonoa 2, for example - and cheap, I might add. Hadn't seen that since it was released.
I've also kept most of the games I knew were collectables (for me). I've kept games like Rumble Racing, the Tony Hawks, Onimushas, Jak and Daxter, Dark Cloud (which I actually enjoyed more than Dark Chronicle, the sequel), Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 and 2, State of Emergency, Zone of the Enders etc etc - these are all outside of the typical Final Fantasys and Metal Gears.

But I have been trying to switch my NTSC collection for a PAL collection, as getting a PAL system is less likey going to be a hassle in the future if the PS2 breaks down. Not entirely there yet though - still missing a couple, like Final Fantasy X and God of War.

Which reminds me, I haven't got God of War II. I've played most of it (borrowed it from my cousin), but not completed it. I got Killer 7 as soon as I saw it cheap, but I'm not sure if I'll ever play it or not. Found Okami too, but may pass on it and get the Wii version instead in the future.

I also want Yakuza, especially now that the sequel is being translated and released, and the third game is coming to the PS3.

    We agree on something!

    /hugs prof

I might go an watch all the cutscenes on XS3 again, wonderful games. They might get a pedestal or something in a few years in a glass case.

It's alright mate. It turns up in shops near me pretty cheap. I've only really thought about wanting it again recently.

PS2 games disappear? If they're anything like PS1 games I don't think so, they won't be in GAME or Gamestation but they'll still be a round.

And I'm trying to achieve the opposite aim. If you have anything NTSC you want to swap for PAL let me know, I have a PAL copy of God of War for instance.

Well it is a truly great game. It is hard to get hold of but it certainly doesn't reach 'collector' prices.

The copy I just bought from Amazon marketplace was £4. :p

get it on Dreamcast if you have one, four player rather than just two

Still trying to find a copy of A Dog's Life...

Everywhere I've seen it, it's been bloody expensive.

Good luck with Kessen III, I've been after that for years.
Couldn't find it 6 months after release, and unlike Kessen II (rubbish), it never appeared en-masse in cheap promotions.
    Dammit.

    Other gems of interest:
    Graffiti Kingdom
    Gregory Horror Show
    Steambot Chronicles

This is something I worry about. My collection is about 60% PAL, 30% NTSC U/C, and 10% NTSC JP. If my PS2 dies I'll just have to find another chipped machine from somewhere.

There's nothing left that I want, except perhaps a couple of Japan-only fighters (Mark of the Wolves, Last Blade) that I'll most likely never play.

I've opted to go 100% NTSC. I never did a breakdown but PAL games must have been way under 33% of my collection. I just got sick of being disappointed by the PAL conversions, after a while I stopped even trying to find out if the PAL version was decent and just opted to buy everything as NTSC.

    *edit*
The only thing that bugs me now is the games that didn't get an NTSC U/C release such as Forbidden Siren 2 and Michigan since I would prefer all my survival horrors playable on one console.
