    WTF????? o_O

It's a Sky router. How can I check to see if anyone else is connected to it?

    This is the exact message:

    System Authentication Failed.

    Another Administrator online.

Just unplug it, wait a bit, and plug it back in. If some cunt is using your router that'll stop em'

It's just let me in on the 10th attempt.

    Seriously worried about that now.

I don't really understand the strategy of posting some out of context verbiage, and then putting a random link into the middle of it.
If I was looking for a dissertation service to cheat on my degree, I doubt I would be looking in a thread about kentmonkey's router.

You clearly didn't get the password.

I always just assumed it was hoping that some search engine would pick up up on a trawl, so if you type a question about something in to google, it will come up on that post.

I often have tried to google something and some half-arsed answer on a shitty forum somewhere crops up the middle of the responses.

Like, say, the London Taekwondo Championship?

It makes me a bit sad that it is lost in time.

I'm no SEO expert but I think the idea is if a search engine trawls other sites and finds enough links to dodgydissertations.net or whatever, it boosts the ranking of that site in keyword search results. So it's not an effort to bring people here, it's an effort to boost the site being linked to.

Hopefully you’ve got a new router. But change the default password.

That's basically how it works. EG could (maybe they have) ad a tag to all links to stop that effect.
