Registered 15 years agoCorrect me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it include the game as well? -

Registered 20 years agoI thought it did include the game, which is why I said it was not a rip off...
Play do seem a bit vague on the details though. -

Registered 17 years agoTop of the box picture implies it does come with the game - it certainly looks like a UMD case shaped picture anyway. Trouble is I thought the RRP for the set was something like £170, and Play state £145 so I'm kinda flummoxed. How the F*** do you spell flummoxed? -

Says it does come with the game, I'm sure its just a case of Play.com not putting all the information into the page.
Looks really nice, if my PSP explodes, which knowing Sony is bound to happen at some point just after any warranty expires, I'll be sure to pick one up. -

Registered 16 years agoYup comes with the game, but not the limited edition. Have ordered the PSP and the ltd edition game, but will see how much Game are selling the set for. Will trade in old PSP there. -

Registered 15 years agoAwesome! Just to be sure: that's definitely the special edition PSP with FF artwork, rather just being a silver PSP, right? -

Registered 16 years agoIt's a a special super-duper PSP with the FF artwork on it. But the game that comes with it is the standard edition. (Hence I've ordered the Special Edition game too.) /is a sad, sad, Final Fantasy VII whore... -

Registered 15 years agoSo, do you think that PSP is worth it? Isn't the silver colour a little ... ugly? I think I might trade my Ye Olde PSP for this new slim and lite one! -

This makes no sense to me. -

Registered 15 years ago^ Well, I'm trying to work out whether I should trade it in or not. And I need help :/ Is the silver one ugly or what? -
Argghhh I want that so damn much. I had a PSP but sold it 9 months after launch because it was, well shit and was never used. I can't buy it for one game, can I? -

Don't be so naive, there are dozens of great games on PSP now, someone else can list.. -

Registered 16 years agoAh ok fair enough! Apologies for sleepy grumpyness, but theres gotta be a couple of gems which could sway you, God of War, Disgaea at least? I know what you mean though, PSP is the digestive to DS's Cherry bakewell.

Nail on head my friend! Perfect way of putting it. Do you think I am OK sleeping on it? This thing isn't going to sell like crazy is it?

Registered 16 years agoWell, personally, I think the silver on the slim PSP is a bit reminiscent of action figure detail paint. I've got a white myself which is darn pretty, pre-ordered Crisis Core. I know its not gunna give me that warm FFVII blanket of comfort, but defo worth a squirt at £17.99. -

It's a spin-off action-orientated game, not a port.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. Final Fantasy is a lot more popular in the UK than I thought, so it might just sell like mad :/ -

If it were, the PSP would have sold a lot more in Japan than it is right now

Indeed, my PSP has had something of a renaissance recently with Final Fantasy Tactics and Silent Hill Origins. There's plenty of good stuff out for it now. -

Registered 20 years agoI have been the proud owner of both a DS and PSP (ahem - that sounds rather ghey, doesn't it?)...and the PSP wins it for me.
The games just have more depth on the PSP. The DS is great for dipping in and out of Castlevania / New Super Mario Bros etc - but it lacks the hefty-goodness of games like Vice City Stories / Metal Gear etc.
Oh, and LocoRoco > anything on the DS.
edit: I'd be tempted to pick up this boxset - the only problem being that I'm not too confident when it comes to returning 'dead-pixel beasts' to Play. Pity Amazon aren't selling it, as they're very hassle free when it comes to exchanging faulty items (yes, I am an Amazon Planet!). -

Registered 15 years agoI'm hoping GameStop here in Ireland will be stocking it. I'll give the local one a ring tomorrow and see if I can pre-order it in some way. Plus, I've learned that my old PSP will score me €80 off! But, I've definitely decided that I want this now
