Loss of innocence.

Hello.

I am just starting a research assignment that focuses on the theme of loss of innocence and its use in various texts. I plan to use 'The Catcher in the Rye' as one of my examples and maybe 'Lord of the Flies' but I still need more. So if you guys come up with any other types of literature/media (books, films, short stories, poems, song lyrics etc) that involve the theme it would be greatly appreciated.

I think my girlfriend just did something similar to this for Uni. I'll ask her later on (when she's actually awake!) and get back to you.

Thanks, To Kill a Mocking Bird will be good. I don't know why I hadn't thought of that because I read it quite recently. Oh and if I can't find a good example for the theme in film I might just contrast it with those coming of age movies (The Breakfast Club etc).
