Pre Avengers treat in Almost Famous.
This is Manchester: the usual meaty double cheeseburger with beef onion gravy, mustard and chips as a topper. Yeah a Poutine!
Really tasty, felt like I was having a roast beef dinner in my mouth.

Not sure if I'd have it again due to the English mustard ingredient. So many burgers to try.

    Nice!!!

I did a burger tonight. Pork patty laced with pancetta, bbq sauce and melted cheese, and topped with spicy onion rings and crispy onion bits.

BBQ tonight and my friend hosting it has some nice homemade burgers ready for the bbq. Should be good night and weather

But does anyone else get from other people, how burgers are seen as nasty cheap junk food?, like its McD, some birds eye frozen crap from the supermarket or even some microwave 99p job. Its actually annoying as I work with some people who can't accept you can get a burger that is made from good ingredients (better than some supermarket sandwich that has been on the floor at the packaging plant!)

Probably sacrilege to mention the M word in here but have to give kudos to McDonalds for the New York Stack...itís probably the finest burger theyíve done in the UK. If the last couple of years are anything to go by the remaining burgers in the Taste of America promotion pale in comparison.

I'll still have a Maccy D's but I'll still admit they're well dirty and not a great burger.

Oh, donít get me wrong I know itís the bottom of the rung but if you are going to have to slum it in a fast food place then the New York Stack is the way to go. Iím quite partial to a Five Guys but Iíd rather a £4.30 NYS from McDís than a £12 all the way Five Guys.

If McD's could make the actual beef patty good they'd be alright, it's just so dry, grey and shit. I definitely avoid the Signature range they've started doing because a larger dry, grey and shit burger is worse than a smaller one.

Yeah, those signature burgers are a real disappointment...even the spicy one is bland and nondescript.

Had the crazy jalfrazi burger yesterday from Baba G. It's alright. The patty was ok but really needed seasoning. The rest of the flavours are muted. I did enjoy it but it's not singing I would go for again.

Anyone tried a Shiso Burger? It's a German Burger chain inspired by Japanese cooking.

They're about to open a branch close to my office

So, today I learned that a little bit of onion powder will absolutely transform your homemade burgers.

In 500g of beef (enough for 4 quarter pounders) went plenty of salt, plenty of pepper, a pinch of cayenne pepper and maybe a teaspoon of onion powder. Stellar.

I used to like adding chives but this is way better.

Omg yes, I had a mcds burger for the first time in about a decade because I saw an advery for these burgers in the window. Fuck itz I thought. I'll give one a go. It was the driest blandest thing I've biten into in a while. I actually threw it away

Everything about this was average. Disappointing.

Would you say you were Kevin Sorbo disappointed?

And even the shakes were average? That's not on.
