I've used Scan a couple of times with no problems and a few friends and colleagues use them as the first port of call for any PC bits with similar good results.

I tend to use Scan, Aria, Novatech, Dabs (great Quidco and customer service) or CCLonline and I'm happy with all of them.

I'll second the CCL online one.

Only ordered from them once but they were brilliant, especially when the fraud protection kicked in on my card and blocked the order.

Wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Scan are great unless you have a faulty product. If so, prepare to wait while it gets sent back to the manufacturer for assessment. Once confirmed faulty they will offer you a refund minus a figure for however long you owned the product.

So, as ling as you don't mind being without the item for a few weeks and can accept less than it's value in replacement, by all means buy from scan.

Or just use ebuyer or amazon who have a faultless returns program in place.

Good god - sorry. Dunno how I missed that!

Anyway - are you sure they don't deliver to Eire? Says 9.99 on their site:

    Delivery options outside mainland UK
Delivery to Northern Ireland, Eire, Scottish Offshore, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man

Delivery options Price & delivery times
    Within 2 - 3 working days Only 9.99
    7am - 7pm

See I thought I had seen that too but I want to order a bunch of stuff last night and couldn't create an account or get them to accept an Irish address.

Seems that Google checkout has to be used. Makes things easier though, will proceed with them so.
Bit of a duh moment there.

Edit: oops, forgot to say cheers i'd given up on them as an option earlier.

You don't have to use Google checkout (probably easier that way though, I admit). Just get on to their support when setting up an account and they'll sort it.

Oh, and the postcode to use is REP 123, not REP IRE like I posted earlier.

@kadooosh I've used them a couple of times over the last few years (for purchases ranging from 75-400), and I've never had any issues at all for what it's worth.

Ditto. Very reputable company, and recently at least cheaper than Scan.

I've used them a fair bit over the past couple of years. Always found them to be excellent.

I wouldn't order from anyone else, if I am honest. The free shipping (to forum members) and free Haribo makes it worth it.

Generally i use Amazon, scan.co.uk and then overclockers

nothing wrong with overclockers as a service, i just never found them particularly competitive price wise.

The last few things i ordered off them (couple of radiators and a pump) were all delivered fine.
