True. When I hit upper management tier, I'm going to enact the plan with uniqlo socks.
New socks are amazing, I'm not sure primark socks qualify for the new sock feeling though.
I got a load for Christmas and I was genuinely delighted. -

Registered 9 years agoThat's about £20 a week on socks, to be fair I spend more than that on coffee and have to live with my slightly worn socks. I may need to reevaluate my priorities. -

I imported some socks from Japan recently. Quite pricey but excellent quality. -
My socks are mostly grey. Even the ones that aren't. -

If anyone actually cares, my friend is now a clinical physiologist working in bereavement counselling for a cancer charity. I'm sure she looks back on her study of socks quite frequently. -

I wear brightly coloured socks with my suits, in all colours. Sometimes coordinated with my tie, which the rules say I have to wear for board meetings. As I otherwise basically wear a charcoal or blue suit, with white or blue shirts, it is at least a small form of personality, and because they look a bit daft I see it as a show of confidence you can hold over the rest of the boring fuddy duddies in their black or dark blue socks. -
You're still "that guy with the socks" in the office though.
