Not calibration as such. Works just fine pointing at the floor, but feels better IMO if you hold the wiimote vertical before pressing A. Makes the Miiatch your movements and feels more realistic to me.

Love the fact that I now have a pretty good feel for the location and recognise places from my flying exploits.

    +1
Spare us all the whining at the inevitable end to your new fling. Leave it be. It's not for lightweight turncoats like you. The Wii is for real gamers, gamers that can take some punishment without cry wanking in countless "I sold my Wii" threads, gamers who doesn't need to sit down whilst playing, gamers that can go for months without any decent releases.

Pressing 2 when you start games changes things - for instance, swordplay will be at sunset instead of the day and basketball will be at night. Even better though - Table Tennis will now be a eleven pointer match :)

    I didn't know that. Ta.

And UG, yeah the wii will become an expensive dust collector* again if it's only really WSR that is re-floating your boat.

Cool beans. Depending on what you've already played there are a few more recommendations for it (PES and TW10 are definately worth a try for sports fans).

SUPERB! Table Tennis is easily my favourite, but just too short.

Speed slice is addictive. I've gone unbeaten and worked my way up to 900-odd ranking points.

I've become quite addicted to slicing like mad in the speed slice. After doing the proper slice just keep on a cutting.

Table tennis is win! And souvlaki, thanks for that tip to change it to an 11 point match. Much better.

I haven't "got" table tennis yet. Where exactly does the motion plus come in? I'm basically just flicking my wrist like I would in Mario & Sonic. I've tried directing it but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Bowling's the same. I can spin it easily in Wii Sports, but here it just goes straight no matter how much I twist the remote.

I've noticed that for bowling. I'm actually finding it harder with the M+.
For the table tennis, try the return challenge. After a few gos of that, you should be able to direct it. It asks you to hit cans off the table, so you're basically practicing direction all the time.

fwiw I think the table tennis relies on timing (like wii sports tennis) a little too much for direction. Still grand though. Bowling is just as easy to spin in imo.

Great game! Love all of the sports :o)

Quick question though - Can you leave the M+ thingy plugged in to the remote forever? It's not going to run the batteries down any faster is it?

Suprised at how competent basketball is, really enjoyed it! Love the swordfighting and table tennis!

It's a real shame this isn't online. I'll probably never get to experience four-player canoeing, yet it looks like complete mayhem. Had a quick go of two-player yesterday and it was funny as.

My favourite sports so far are archery, swordplay and canoeing. Worst are wakeboarding and cycling.

There is no internet connection in the world that could handle the massive flow of data the WM+ generates. It is like putting Baby in a corner.

    You just don't.

If that were true, then you're saying that any game using M+ can't have any online multiplayer? But don't GST and Tiger 2010 have online modes and they use M+.

I was joking. I'm allergic to smileys but I really should start using them.
