Murray 5-5 in final set against Federer in Madrid Masters. He lost the first set 6-3, won the next one 6-3.

    Murray wins :D

Excellent match. He still wastes too many break points though :p

    Absolutely amazing for murray.
And he has a very good chance of winning this masters.

Simon was amazing today against Nadal though. I think what could work against him tomorrow however is simply running out of gas. Murray's had a much easier route the final.

Murray beats Simon in straight sets :), 6-4 7-6 (8-6).
    Two Masters now, great stuff.

    Edit: Boo! ;)

I'm a big Nadal fan, and I know he's won titles on hard courts, but time and time again he comes up 2nd on the faster surfaces. Anyone who can serve big and hit flat groundies has a chance against him.

Is there a good tennis game for the Xbox?

Top Spin if you mean the original Xbox. Virtua Tennis 3 or Top Spin 3 on the 360.

    360. Best one?

Virtua Tennis 3 is a lot more fun IMO. Top Spin 3 is more recent and more realistic, but it didn't grab me in the same way.

Well done Andy, a slam is just a matter of time...

I don't think he'll win one for a while, especially Wimbledon. I think his best chance is in the US but with guys like Djokovic, Nadal and Federer to beat I can't see it. He did fantastically in New York this year but I'm not sure he can do it again, at least for a while. The top 3 have a habit of coming up with their best tennis when it counts. Masters are great but they're only best of 3 matches.

I have Top Spin 2 and Virtua Tennis 2 for the PS2. Both equally as good imo, albeit slightly different. I think VT is easy to play but doesn't look as good as Top Spin.

Didn't see it, but happy about it.
I don't quite see why murray winning a slamy is unreasonable. He's improved drastically.

I didn't say it was unreasonable...I just don't think it will happen for a while.

I'm a huge Murray fan, always was. He's done amazingly to get to 4 in the world with 1 slam final appearence, especially so soon. I just think it won't happen for a while.

So is the idea that Chinese fans always support the big name? Getting riled alongside Murray that they keep interrupting his game.

Murray has nearly knocked Fed out of the Masters Cup. Should be all over in 5 or 10 minutes...

Hey, Pistol, heard about the new Pro K-Staff 88 that's out soon?

*Oh, and Murray to win a slam next season. Aussie or US open.

I haven't no, but I tend to use babolat. Moved from Wilson about 6 years ago.

Murray is definately the in form player at the moment, especially over the last month or so. He's definately going to be well tipped to do well in Australia and is getting stronger all the time. With Nadal out with knee tendonitus and Djokovic not really doing so well right now, I'd pip Fed, murray or Tsonga to do well.

Spoke too soon. Fed has broken back and we're now back on serve.

Fed's injured so probably playing a little unpredictably.
