Pfft....I'm old as fuck, and I still go clubbing. Usually have a banging time n all. A night out with lads makes the working week worthwhile. Out of a bunch of around 10 of us mates who go out, about 5 of em are 22-28(ish), a few are 28-30(ish) whilst I'm 38!! But the winner of the old bastard award is our mate Paul, who is 50, but still has the mind of a very intelligent and hilarious 20 year old! Seriously, it's like turning out with Peter Cook on Amphetimine. We always have a great night, mainly in the center of Manchester, but we like to make certain weeks a mystery tour, and have ended up tripping the light fantastic in Liverpool, Blackpool, Chester (once a year. It's too fucking far!), Wigan, Bolton....etc etc....
Can't wait for bank holiday Sunday coming up, when all us old gits are decending on 5th Avenue (Student indie bar in Manc) for the annual foam party!!! I do think I've been blessed in a certain 'young looking' way though, as most of the young birds who come talking to us seem to think I'm about 26. (See profile for recent piccy) But in my sensible old head I know it's either an extreme case of beer googles, or they trying to cadge drinks. Either way, they don't get anywhere, as I am one of those rare 'happily' married blokes....
