Has anyone played Tiny Thief? Looks nice but haven't seen any reviews on it (except for one or two via Google to sites I've never read before) -

Registered 17 years ago@BravoGolf Tiny Thief is brilliant.
It plays like samarost/tiny bang theory but is very whimsical and has a lovely setting. I'm playing it on the iPad btw.

@THFourteen I thought Dungeon Raid was excellent.
Got me hooked, like, forever. I'll admit it was one of the first games of this type I tried though. -

Registered 16 years agoCouple of new ones to think about this week, Call of Duty, Arma Tactics, plus First Touch Soccer, which is free to try but massively fremium heavy with adverts unless you pay £2.99 to unlock all the game modes.
It's by the same people who made the Score! game, with an interesting control scheme. -
Arma Tactics looks like it could be interesting -

Anyone play Arma Tactics yet? -
The reviews are pretty harsh .... frame rate issues and buggy.
I look the look of it, but will hang fire until an update. -

Registered 11 years agoI feel a bit sad about iOS games lately.
... we had the WONDERFUL Letterpress, Little Inferno, Ridiculous Fishing, Year Walk and Jacob Jones all very early in the year (this year) and yet, six-seven months later, I cannot really think of anything truly special since.
: (
Oh, and Fetch, Hundreds and Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet, which are iPad only games!
p.s. Plants vs. Zombies 2 is easily the biggest disappointment of the year for me. I played the first game on my lovely old DSi, on my iPad and Xbox 360 ... the sequel is just not the same, for similar reasons kalel briefly mentions.

Registered 16 years agoIve been replaying fieldrunner 2 recently. Rebalanced levels and new towers and shit.
Its a lot harder than it was. -
I was very disappointed with PvZ2. Despite assurance the payments side wouldn't affect the game, it completely ruined it. -

LUCKY YOU!
... which one had you already played?
Year Walk is so, so very good. Creepy as hell though! -

Registered 20 years ago@Charlie - Ridiculous Fishing, which I should really have another go at. Just downloaded Jacob Jones. I think I may have tried Letterpress before, but have no mates if it's multiplayer only. -

Have to agree about PvZ2. After an initial flurry of playing it and thinking, this isn't nearly as bad as I expected given the f2p nature of it, I haven't touched it for ages and have zero compulsion to go back to it.
In contrast, PvZ1 had a certain charm that meant I devoured it twice on phone and iPad, and dipped into it now and again for Zen garden etc.
