    Cursed Loot is probably the most fun I've ever had with a rogue-like. Old school graphics, sense of humor, hard as nails. I've only made it to Depth 4.
    So far i'ts iPad only, but they promised an iPhone version too.

    It's actually quite enjoyable for a number of minutes, maybe an hour. It's a sandbox game with quite a few nooks and crannies that reward exploration (not just of the space, but also of the mechanics). Plus, some of the interactions can be reasonably funny. The lack of progression in the challenge and the fact that whatever long term goals you can have don't feel very enticing eventually kills it. But it's fun for a while and definitely worth a dollar.

    I've been taking my mind off the Britocalypse with Rodeo Stampede. You ride savannah animals and jump to the next one before they throw you off. And befriend them. And have a zoo. You can get extra points by watching short adverts, but....they don't know if you don't actually watch them!!!

    Slitherine are having a sale on their iOS games. Some good ones, if you like wargame type stuff. Although their prices are not the usual iOS race to the bottom stuff.

    The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth finally approved for iOS, releasing soon;

    http://toucharcade.com/2016/10/24/the-binding-of-isaac-rebirth-approved-by-apple/

    Can't imagine it'll be much fun without physical controls, but hey.

    If they confirmed Afterbirth and Afterbirth+ I might bite since the Vita/3DS version isn't going beyond Rebirth sadly.

    Civ 6 free for the first 60 turns? Those sneaky bastards damn well know you can't just, like, stop after 60 turns?!

    OK, apparently the current – rather high – price for Civ 6 is an introductory pricing and going to double on 4 January…

    Anyone know if it'll work on a 6 month old iPad?

    @Decks

    Unfortunately, Civ VI will not work on just any iPad. According to Aspyr's blog post announcing the release, Civilization VI requires "iOS 11 on an iPad Air 2, iPad 2017, or any iPad Pro." This is not surprising, but it cuts out the entire iPad mini line—which is still available for sale from Apple—and the original iPad Air, which is still popular and in use.

    Does this help?
