I've seen cats sit like that in water without any provocation. Some go mental and try to escape, some stay absolutely still in the hope that the water will just go away.

I've never seen one try to meow under water though.

My cat doesn't care about water. Will go out in the pouring rain. Never put her in the bath though. She doesn't really like the bathroom given the tiles have less grip. Some cats hate water, others love it.

However, I do agree the cat looks scared. It isn't happy to be there. Tho perhaps it needed to be washed for fleas.

Yeah, it's the meowing that makes me think it's just cruelty, cute though it sounds. No cat would keep its mouth under water.

I just hate videos where you see cats flying across rooms or inexplicably falling off things. You just know that some cunt is throwing them around or drugging them for lols.

Blimey. Maybe I'm naive, but all the videos of cats falling off things have either been half-asleep cats rolling over or slightly young cats slightly misjudging a jump.

As for this video, sure the cat's stressed. Many cats do get stressed if they get wet, and presumably the owners are keeping it in the bath because it needs to be washed. Note it's now drowining, because it's holding its nose above water. It's slightly cruel because the cat presumably doesn't want to be in water any longer than it needs to be, but the owners are faffing around videoing it, but on the scale of cat cruelty, fuck it.

Sod this though. Less moans, more nuggets please
