Got my Olympic ticket application reply - missed out on the men's 100m final.. but ended up with 25,000 tickets for West Ham v Doncaster

I applied for 4pairs of tickets. The day in the olympic stadium I thought was going to be little chance, but also applied for BMX, weightlifting and handball. No money taken.....

Out of interest, did all you guys who didn't get any tickets selected the option for the more expensive ones too? I went up one or two classes on a couple of them, maybe that done the trick?

I applied for �2500 of tickets and got nothing.

I know someone who applied for double that and got nothing.

Not really I just went for the cheapest tickets to all events. Thing is, I applied for some random stuff as well as the obvious ones, so not sure why I got none at all.

I applied for six events, and got two. For the most part, I went for middling priced tickets, i.e. the �150/seat at the swimming and athletics - didn't get them.

What we did get were the �45/seat tickets for the Archery & Hockey. Think I went for a medal session with the Archery, but just a 'regular' Hockey session.
