You can use customised searches. All my custom searches from FF have copied across, though I'm not sure how you create new ones.

Not seeing the speed improvements everyone is mentioning but then Firefox is pretty quick for me at rendering pages so I never knew it was an issue.

I like the layout though, nice and simple, so I'll give it some use. Only real problem I've noticed so far is that it scrolls way too quickly when i try to scroll with my touchpad, which doesn't happen in other applications.

    The what? - how?
Log in to Gmail or Google Docs, go to the little paper icon next to the URL bar and choose "Create application shortcuts".

You can create a shortcut icon on the desktop or Start menu which will open up that site with no other browser buttons at all, as if it was a native Windows app.

Start typing the name of the search engine then hit tab.

You need to have searched directly from the site first so that it picks it up I think. Sorry, just edited that in.

Websites that collect or share information about you
Internet service providers or employers that track the pages that you visit
Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
    Surveillance by secret agents
    People standing behind you

    lol at the last two

You can have Firefox open up multiple pages as well - in the homepage box you just separate the first one with a | and put another website. "www.eurogamer.net | www.google.com | www.facebook.com". Unless you're talking about something else...

I was struggling to get bookmarks working, you can drag into the bar like other browsers but you have to highlight the URL and then drag it.

Annoying that you can't import bookmarks from Opera though.

Rather like this, so far. Not useful at present on my main machine, since it's a Mac, but on my PC it's definitely preferable to IE7 or FF3 in the performance stakes so far. I really like the minimalist UI, too.

I fucking hate tabs, what happened to the good old days when you had a new window for each website? So much simpler.

It does, look in the other bookmarks folder on the top right. Even keeps the folders intact.

Hmm it didn't on mine and when I click import bookmarks it only lists FF and IE.
