Huh. They seem to have added that and I hadn't noticed.

Adblock and Googlemail Checker it is then. I always go fairly light on extensions.

does chrome have a passwords backup option?

It seems to backup everything else to my google account apart from passwords

also, is there a way to insert your google account natively into the browser so that it integrates with all your account etc. ? i've looked all around and can't find anything

The only reason why i dont use Chrome is because there's no addon which allows you to adjust text size and page size individually like i can with Firefox...or atleast there wasnt last time i checked.

There still isn't. It's hugely annoying, easily my biggest gripe.

    Can't you just press ctrl & + or -?

Or use a really strong magnifying glass.

Or hold the laptop really close to your face.

I don't want to zoom the entire page, I want to just zoom the text. Chrome won't do that.

It also doesn't 'remember' what size you had a site set to last time you were there, so you have to redo it every time.

No I was being dumb, my fucking Print Spooler service keeps resetting itself to Manual start. So no connected printers were showing up in the cloud printer list, doh!

Adjusting font sizes independently would surely cause quite a few websites issues would it not?

Yeah, none of them work properly unfortunately, DB. Tried 'em all.

Adjusting just the fonts causes far fewer problems that you might expect. It's certainly a worthwhile addition given that many sites seem to think that everyone who reads their content is Mr Magoo.

Exactly what happens. Firefox has an addon which auto resizes stuff without messing up the page. Chrome doesnt.

I don't see what the issue is with just zooming the page really.

If you use normal zoom to try and make the page smaller, you end up with a tiny strip of content down the middle of the browser. Just making the font smaller fits in loads more content without reducing you to 'newspaper view'.

You don't need an extension to do it in Firefox, it's a standard feature - you just select 'zoom text only' from the zoom menu.

The 'minimum text size' thing doesn't do what I want, DB - that stops the fonts getting too small. I want to stop them getting too big.
